Vantiv (fka Fifth Third) Tandem (St. Pete) - Retail

When processing with Vantiv (fka Fifth Third) Tandem - St. Pete in a retail / quick service environment the following transaction types can be processed via Host Capture*:

*Host Capture – All transaction information is saved by the payment processor. Host capture via Vantiv (fka Fifth Third) Tandem - St. Pete

allows CRE/RPE to send a settlement command, or have the option to auto-settle at a certain time of the day.

    • Including: Debit Card Transactions (with use of supported pinpad) 

Pinpad must be pre-loaded with encryption key prior to configuration and may require software to be running. For instructions on configuring your pinpad with CRE/RPE please see below:

  • Gift Card Transactions (with gift cards supplied through 5/3) 

Note: Each station can use the same terminal number (TID) for each type of payment processing described above, provided the account has been provisioned accordingly.
