HP Epson USB Powered Printers
The Epson USB powered printers do not require a separate power adapter. Power is supplied via the powered USB port available on HP computers.
This procedure sets the built-in USB port active:
Do a self test. At the bottom of the printed, test it will say “Select Modes by pressing Feed Button.
Press the feed button for more than 1 second one time.
“Mode Selection” will print.
Press the feed button 3 times for less than one second each time.
Press the feed button 1 time for more than 1 second.
“Custom Value Settings” will print.
Press the feed button for less than 1 second each push 10 times.
Press the feed button 1 time for more than 1 second.
“Interface Selection” will print.
Press the feed button 2 times for less than 1 second each time.
Press the feed button 1 time for more than 1 second.
Interface Selection will print and should say “Built-in USB”.
Power cycle the printer and the built in USB interface should now be active.
Self Test Instructions:
With the printer turned off, paper loaded, and the paper cover closed, hold down the feed button and turn the printer on. Release the feed button when the printer starts to print.
