Verifone MX800 Series

To verify how the unit is to be configured with your computer look at the back of the device. 

Example of a MX800 series pinpad with a USB interface

If the end of the cable is Blue then the device is to be configured via USB.

• Verifone MX800 USB Pinpad Install Windows 7

• Verifone MX800 USB Pinpad Install Windows 8 (32-bit only)

• Verifone MX800 USB Pinpad Windows 8 Driver (64-bit only)

If the end of the cable is Green then the device is to be configured via Serial.

If the end of the cable is Brown then the device is to be configured via Ethernet.
